Is it a huge report?
Few steps to troubleshoot:
1. Check in both Webi Rich Client and BI Launchpad and check if it reproduces?
If yes, check the logs. (WebiServer log files on BO server OR WRC logs under Logging folder on local machine)
2. How many data providers does the report have? Purge all data providers , save the report and check. If successful, we might suspect the size of the report.
3. Try renaming the report or saving in different Enterprise folder.
4. Check if Save As to Excel/PDF works
5. Try Save As and try saving with different name in Webi format itself.
6. Check with different browser (for BI Launchpad) / different user or admin user / different machine
Answers to above questions might help in narrowing down2 the issue.
