BICA Create Scorecard Measures - Trend Periods

Hi,

Currently in the "Create Scorecard Measures" in BICA, exists the option to select the "Trend Periods" for each new KPI created.

It looks OK, except that value will be hard-coded in the metric calculation formula, and that can lead the "strange" results when we change the periodicity in the scorecard.

In example, monthly KPI created using 12 trend periods: in the scorecard when viewing that same KPI in quarterly/yearly, the last 12 periods will be used to calculated the trend value.

Using the "default" option, the number of periods used will depend on the selected periodicity:

Monthly = 12

Quarterly = 4

Yearly = 2

In PAS we can override the default values using the SET CONTROL command, i.e.: "SET CONTROL MOVING_QUARTERLY 4", but in this case that will not override the value defined during the metric creation via BICA.

Did anyone face the same problem in the past? There is any other way, except editing each calculation of "Trend" and "Gap Performance" metrics, to correct the calculation?

Thanks

Pedro
