When you do ABNAN, Depreciation till last FY is posted in the posting. Depreciation related to current year is posted when you do AFAB

For Eg: FY is Jan-December. Asset Capitalized in 01st July 2015. If you do ABNAN in Apr, with Value date of 01.01.2016, it will post Accum. Dep of 6 months of 2015.

Dep for 2016 (Jan-Apr) will be posted when you do Afab in April
