Hello everyone,
While trying to learn about the configurable task lists, I came across a step where you have to put a "Configurable Material" on the equipment to assign it the classes and characteristics. Because for some reason, task lists do not pick up the classes and characteristics that you assign on an equipment through 'Class Overview'.
In this whole process, I did not understand what is the significance of 'Equipment as a variant'! I did go through this LINK. and this LINK. but it did not explain what is its significance or why is this needed!
I am having a hard time convincing our MM team to allow the creation of KMAT type material.
I am also having issues gathering the "Advantages" in favor of configurable task lists but that would be another thread.
Any and all help would be much appreciated on this topic.
