Re: Affordable Care Act (ACA)

Scenario:

Employee is 'Active' from January to May 31, 2015 with PERNR 12345

Individual is 'Retiree' from June 1 to Year-End with PERNR 54321

We use Reference No (info-type 0031) to tie them together.

We are unable to generate a single 1095-C for the individual for their 'Active' information and 'Retiree' information.

What occurs is a form just gets generated for the Retiree portion.

If we run the PERNRs separately, we can generate a form for the 'Active' and a 2nd form for the 'Retiree', but my understanding is that the IRS wants the information on ONE form.

Has anyone dealt with this scenario and have a solution?
